Talk on the Bomb – Hull Daily Mail, 5 October 1949

University Ward Young Conservatives last night heard a talk on the atomic bomb by Mr T. Beecroft, who was in Japan during the raid on Nagasaki. The chair was taken by Mr Peter Ledraw, and thanks expressed by Mr W. F. Cerny.

   Thomas Ford Beecroft was captured by the Japanese during the fall of Singapore.
