Hessle weddingThe wedding took place at Hessle Wesley Church of Lt. Thomas Ford Beecroft, R.A., only son of Mr and Mrs C. S. Beecroft, 166, Westbourne-ave., Hull, and Miss Jean Margaret Barlow, only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr H H. Barlow, Glenholme, Swanland-road, Hessle.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr E H. Barlow, wore a gown of white Nottingham lace with veil held by an orange blossom and pearl head-dress. The bridesmaid was Miss Marion Barber in green faille.

The ceremony, which was choral, was performed by the Rev D. R. Dugard and Lt. C. Trahern, R.A., of Coventry, was best man. A reception was held at Darley’s Hotel and later the couple left for their honeymoon at Ilkley.

Lt. Beecroft and the best man recently returned to England after being prisoners in Japanese hands for 3½ years.
