Prisoner in Malaya, 1942 Dec 29, Hull Daily Mail
Sec.-Lt. Thomas Ford-Beecroft, only son of Mr and Mrs C. S. Beecroft, of 166, Westbourne-ave., Hull, who was posted “missing” in Malaya during February, is now known to be a prisoner of war.
Educated at the Boulevard Secondary School, 2nd-Lieut, Beecroft was later a member of the staff of the Phoenix Assurance Co., Ltd., of High-st., Hull, and in December, 1939, he joined the Royal Artillery.
